Grand Embodied Intelligence Training Ground

The explosive growth of the embodied intelligence industry has created a huge demand for talent. Data shows that in the first few months of 2025, recruitment demand in the humanoid robot sector surged by 409% year-on-year, with technical positions accounting for as high as 62%. A considerable number of these positions are application-oriented roles that higher vocational education can accurately cover, such as data collection, equipment operation and maintenance, and scenario debugging. Traditional curriculum systems make it difficult for students to access the latest industry equipment and real work processes, while embodied intelligence training grounds can provide a low-cost and high-efficiency practical environment. By simulating tasks in real scenarios such as smart factories and elderly care services, students can master the comprehensive skills required by the industry in advance, effectively bridging the gap between academic studies and employment.

The Grand Embodied Intelligence Training Ground is co-constructed and supported by the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Centre for Humanoid Robots (the national standard-setting body for embodied intelligence training grounds) and CloudMinds Technology (one of the "Hangzhou Six Dragons" and the leader in the domestic application market of embodied intelligent quadruped robots with the highest market share). The training ground is not only a teaching venue but also a scientific research and innovation platform. Colleges and universities can rely on the training ground to carry out data collection, algorithm training, and technical verification, tackle technical challenges jointly with enterprises, and promote the transformation of scientific research achievements into industrial solutions. The construction of the Grand Embodied Intelligence Training Ground is closely integrated with regional economic characteristics to serve local industrial development. By addressing the shortcomings of the local embodied intelligence industrial chain, attracting upstream and downstream enterprises, and forming an industrial cluster effect, it will inject new momentum into regional economic development.
